  • Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a talented Salesforce Quality Analyst (QA) with 1-3 years of experience to ensure the quality and functionality of our Salesforce implementations.

Roles and Responsibilities

Salesforce Platform Knowledge

  • Understanding of Salesforce architecture, objects, fields, relationships, workflows, validation rules, and page layouts.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce features such as Process Builder, Lightning Components, and Salesforce security model.

Manual Testing Skills

  • Test Case Development: Ability to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
  • Test Execution: Proficiency in executing test cases and documenting the results.
  • Defect Tracking: Skills in logging, tracking, and managing defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
  • Regression Testing: Experience in performing regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
  • Positive Testing: Ensuring the system functions as expected under normal conditions.
  • Negative Testing: Ensuring the system gracefully handles invalid or unexpected inputs.
  • Error Handling: Verification that errors are correctly handled and communicated, including the generation of appropriate error messages and emails.

Requirement Analysis

  • Ability to understand and analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop test plans and strategies.

User Interface (UI) Testing

  • Skills in testing the Salesforce user interface, including checking for usability, consistency, and adherence to design specifications.

Data Validation and Verification

  • Proficiency in validating and verifying data integrity, consistency, and correctness within Salesforce objects.

Basic SOQL Knowledge

  • Understanding of basic SOQL queries to verify data in Salesforce-related databases.

Excel Sheet Knowledge

Proficiency in using Excel for data handling, including :

  • Data import/export: Importing data into Salesforce and exporting data from Salesforce to Excel.
  • Data manipulation: Using Excel functions to clean, sort, filter, and analyze data.
  • Data visualization: Creating charts and graphs to visualize data for reporting purposes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Salesforce QA testing, including configurations, custom code, and integrations.
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce platform features and functionality.
  • Familiarity with QA tools and methodologies, including automated testing tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator) are a plus.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes is beneficial.
