Job Summary
- As a Salesforce QA Specialist, you will play a critical role
- The quality and performance of our Salesforce applications and solutions.
- You will work closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to define test plans, execute test cases, and report defects to ensure the successful deployment of Salesforce-based projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test objectives, strategies, and test plans for Salesforce projects.
- Test Case Development:Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data sets that cover various scenarios and use cases within Salesforce applications.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases manually and/or using automated testing tools to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
- Defect Tracking: Log and track defects in a systematic manner, including clear and concise descriptions, steps to reproduce, and severity assessments. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Integration Testing: Verify the integration of Salesforce with other systems, ensuring data consistency and functionality across platforms.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to assess the scalability and responsiveness of Salesforce applications.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test cases, test results, and defect reports. Create and update QA documentation as needed.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure alignment on project goals and quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with Salesforce updates, best practices, and industry trends. Recommend and implement improvements to the QA process.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionality and configuration.
- Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Proficiency in defect tracking and management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Salesforce Test Automation).
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder) are a plus.
